Like many radio presenters of a 'certain age', I caught the radio ‘bug’ when I listened to the pirates in the 1960s on my 'tranny'. The jingles were my favourite part and ‘Big L’ had the best ones.In the seventies, I started broadcasting on a hospital radio station in Surrey and one of my shows won a national competition for best hospital radio programme. Noel Edmonds was one of the judges! In 1976, I became a Butlin's redcoat presenting music and chat from their Radio Butlin studios at Clacton in Essex. Great fun, but very hard work. In the 1990's, I did the weekday morning show on Eclipse FM which broadcast on cable and FM. One of our directors was Dave Cash.A couple of years ago, I did a spell on the weekday afternoon show of a commercial station at the seaside in East Sussex. My most embarrassing moments in radio were interviewing Bo Didley who insisted I call him ‘Mr. Didley’, and when I interviewed the comedian Richard Digance and I got a nose-bleed halfway through!I now really enjoy presenting my weekly Happy Hour show – and I hope you’ll enjoy listening to it!

Viv Craggs - Mouth Meltdown

Viv Craggs Mouth Meltdown

Friday
3 - 5pm

Saturday
9am - 11am
Join me, Viv Craggs, as I bring you Mouth Meltdown.   There's nothing complicated about this show, it’s just me sharing some of my favourite tracks and having a bit of a chat.   I'm Viv, a lady of a "certain age" living in the new Forest in Hampshire, England. I have 2 sons and a grandson and enjoy getting out and about - either in the forest or on the beach - with family, friends and my dogs.   Although I've now lived "Down South" for most of my life, my roots are still firmly entrenched in the North East of England, among the beautiful countryside of the Durham and Yorkshire Dales.   I consider myself very lucky as when I was a child my Grandparents had a farm and I had an idyllic childhood as Saturdays were spent on the farm talking to the animals and playing on the farm machinery - the health and safety police wouldn't allow that these days!   Eventually I had to grow up and get a job. :-( At eighteen I joined the Fire Service where I made some great friends and, as you can imagine, had some very moving experiences.   Life has taken me many places since then, bringing me into radio at a pretty late stage in my life, however I enjoy it enormously, sharing my love of music with my audience and chatting about anything that comes into my head.

Saturday

Roy is from Kent, although like the bear was born in Paddington. The Romance Hour is a laid back show where, in all honesty, Roy is happiest when you hardly even notice he is in the studio -"the less of me, the better the show is.” Each Romance Hour tries to include new songs, old songs, classic songs and songs you don’t know yet, but will do soon. Presented in a simple easy style, with no gimmicks, hardly any jingles, just good, or even great music.

Memory Lane is a 3-hour LIVE show broadcasted every Saturday at 9:00 am EST featuring "Old Time Rock and Roll" music. We play the charted hits from the 60's and 70's, one hit wonders and covers. We don't just play songs, we play memories. Our database contains charted tunes from a variety of popular groups. If you remember The Motown sound; Drive-in Movies and Cruising your Main Street, then sit back, listen, enjoy and reminisce with the tunes that will never die!
Chippenham FM was looking for a presenter who was smart, had a good vocabulary, a sense of humor and had tons of charisma. Instead we got Big Bob, a native of Detroit, Motown , Michigan. Bob's Memory Lane show features "Old Time Rock & Roll" along with charted hits from the 50's 60's and 70's, including one hit wonders and covers. Bob's database contains charted tunes from a variety of popular groups.

Bob says, "We just don't play songs, we play memories. Before we had cell phones, before there were CD-ROMS, before microwave ovens dictated what we ate, and before SUV's emptied our wallets, wasn't life much simpler? If you remember the Motown Sound, Drive-in Movies, and Cruising your Main Street, then sit back, listen, enjoy, and reminisce with the tunes that will never die!"

The Wild Bill Show

SUNDAY
5-8pm
“The Wild Bill Show” is a nationally syndicated three hour rock n’ roll show currently heard in over 100 countries. Bill has been bitten by the music bug since
his teen years listening to Radio Luxembourg on a tiny crystal radio set under his pillow at his home in Lancashire, England. He played in, and managed a few rock bands then started a long commercial radio career collecting vinyl 45’s and LP’s along the way. This mint collection now stands at about 95,000 pieces and ranges through the world of Rock, Doowop, Blues, Rockabilly, Motown, Northern Soul, Country Gold and Dance. All these genres are played in his show along with some trivia and laughs with his studio crew. He has also been fortunate to interview literally hundreds of music stars from the 50s to the 80s, and includes greetings and IDs from these stars in his show. Bill has now re-created the same kind of fun show he used to do on commercial radio, and adapted it for broadcast
worldwide on the internet. Catch this different and unique look at old time fun radio the way it used to be.

The Great Big Chart

SUN 6-8pm & Reruns
'I first started playing music to people when I was around 7 years old, having a karaoke machine along with a stereo that had 2 tape decks. After recording the Chart Show from the radio I would work out the timings for the songs and make notes.
In 2009 I started an online radio station with some friends which I enjoyed, but as with any new ventures as a youngster other things took priority in my life (girls) and it all died out.
That was until I was hosting a quiz in Dorchester, Dorset where there was a raffle in the half time break, one of the prizes was a 2-hour radio show on a local station. It was at this point I knew I needed to win this prize, myself and a friend bought several tickets and were lucky enough to win the prize.
This was where it all started, after my one off show on the 2nd July 2013 I was asked back to the station to cover a slot for a presenter that was traveling the world, I took on my first ever show called High Noon on a Sunday between 11 & 1. 8 weeks later I was told that I was to lose my place on High Noon as I was to take over the Saturday Sports Show from the following week and as they say the rest is history.
Still presenting the Saturday Sports Show I now have experience in nearly every type of show at a radio station including, Drive-time, Breakfast and my favourite of them all The Chart Show.
In 2016 I created a syndicated Chart Show called The Great Big Chart. A show that I have always loved to present, the take up of the show was overwhelming and you can hear the Top 30 being counted down today on stations in the UK and Overseas.
Join Brad as he counts down the biggest selling songs from this week on The Great Big Chart. He’s here with 2 hours of the latest releases and some new tracks as he works his way through the Top 30.'

The Smooth Lounge
Richard Barclay presents the Smooth Lounge, an hour of music that melts in your ears. Richard is a music man. He has been involved in radio since the age of fourteen. He started off at Oxford hospital radio, anchoring the live Saturday afternoon football show. He ran the radio station at Loughborough University and then went on to work at hospital radio in London, Chelmsford, Barking and Newcastle. Richard also writes, performs and produces his own songs - usually instrumental - and has released several albums. Unsurprisingly, that music is smooth listening too!
